Psychoanalysis on the Move
Psychoanalysis is more than a treatment. It’s a way of looking, of listening, of being in the world. We can use psychoanalysis as a lens on social justice, politics, the arts and culture, academia, and beyond. Today’s psychoanalysis is on the move, alive, and engaged.
The branches of the Canadian Psychoanalytic Society organize events and activities to create bridges with the public at large—outside of the clinic. This includes the sharing of psychoanalytic knowledge, the creation of opportunities for multidisciplinary dialogue, and the planning of media events for public participation and conversation.
